Please meet Tyson! He is a Boxer-mix who is around 1½ years old. He’s neutered, current on his vaccines, house and crate trained, and is being fostered in Kenmore, WA.

Tyson is ready to be the center of someone's world!

He has been in foster care for over 4 months and loves having a schedule! He doesn't know the difference between a Saturday or a Monday though, so his foster parents are up every day at 5:30 am to go for a walk!

Tyson is dog friendly with dogs in his pack. He even gets to participate in a monthly pack-walk and insists on leading the way for the whole group. He gets very excited when he sees other dogs, so slow introductions are important. It’ll be important for Tyson that he not live with any cats, or other animals that he could chase and act dominant toward.

Tyson loves knowing what's coming next and wants to be a part of everything that you do. He is a great house and yard protector…no one will ever surprise you with Tyson around!

Tyson loves to play with his foster sister but also knows how to amuse himself with a toy or antler. He is still learning how to take direction and would benefit from continued obedience training with his forever family.

Tyson’s forever home wish list: a strong family and leader that can keep him in "good dog" standing; someone who is active that can take him on walks or runs; no small children though, as he doesn’t realize his size and could easily knock them over; a dog brother or sister that can match his play and stand up to him when he gets too pushy; a yard large enough to run zoomies through; a comfy sofa with pillows to make forts; a carpeted room so he can wiggle and breakdance on his back; an ongoing supply of stuffies and antlers to chew; and lastly, a family with an endless amount of love to give, and one who is ready to receive it right back.

Hi, my name is Astraea (Ah-stray-yuh), but my foster family calls me Yaya. I’m about 10 months old, spayed, and I’m being fostered in Tacoma, WA.

I am full of energy and will display my silly antics all day long; and if you have a squeaky tennis ball, I can keep myself entertained for hours. I absolutely love playing with my foster fur-brothers as well as my littermate who also lives here with me.

While I love wrestling and playing chase, my absolute favorite thing to do is cuddle up with my humans and get in a good snuggle session.

My perfect forever family would have at least one other dog for me to play with. Or…if you want to, you can adopt BOTH me and my brother Artie to love on forever!

I adore dogs of all sizes, although my older foster brother doesn’t care for me too much. I like to boop him with my nose to hear him bark at me! I think it’s a hoot, but he doesn’t see the humor in it.

So, if you want a fun and loving companion, with ears so floppy they always flop backward, then I’m your girl!! Fill out an application today –

Meet Brian! This 4-year-old pup is looking for a new home. Brian is 50% Boxer, and the rest of his mix consists of Border Collie, German Shepherd, and miscellaneous breeds (12.5%). Brian is currently living in Renton, WA.

Brian loves to play but does better with older children as he doesn't understand his size and can knock over smaller kids. He loves all dogs - big and small. He is very submissive to big dogs, and he plays down low with small dogs. Brian loves riding in the car, chasing critters - (rabbits, squirrels, mice, etc.), toys (he won't destroy a stuffy), food, playing in the hose or pool, a tether ball, and a good bone. Brian is not a fan of getting his nails clipped or having his ears and feet touched.

Brian is great when it comes to going for long walks. He wears a prong collar when out and about though, so as to get proper communication from his handler on what is expected of him. He is also kennel trained and uses the doggy door to run in and out of the house all day. Brian can be left alone without destroying everything in the house; although he will steal food off the counter if anything is left out.

Brian has started resource-guarding the infant living in his current home, which is why he needs a new forever home and family. However, he does not guard food, toys, or treats, just the baby.

Brian knows a few commands like sit, kennel, down, and off, but he does not always listen, therefore, he'd benefit from some additional training which he'd enjoy doing with his new human(s). Brian will love to sleep in bed with you, although he's not a particularly cuddly dog; but when he wants love, he will come sit in your lap.

Brian needs a strong leader who can earn his trust and respect. He's an active boy so he also needs a lot of exercise and a doggy friend to keep him entertained and busy. ***Currently, however, Brian is injured with a torn TPLO. He'll need some extra snuggles and some down time (no more zoomies for a little while). He's still a happy boy, just waiting for his forever family to come along.

So, if you're looking for a great pup, who will be excited to learn new things from you, then Brian is your guy. Submit an application today -
