LEASED PROPERTY FALL 2022

After years of operating as a foster based Boxer Rescue, we knew that we had to make a significant change if we were to keep up with the growing demands of our community and the sheer volume of Boxers needing to be rehomed.

DEMO & CONSTRUCTION

The planning phase began with a simple idea, clear away the fallen trees, debris, and old fencing on the property. Volunteers cleared the property, built a shed, outdoor kennels and landscaped.

We are actively fundraising to secure the property as part of MLBR’s capital campaign! This property is essential for our mission and will help us expand our services and impact in the community.

Building A Tail-Wagging Future

Dear Friends,

In 2010, I founded MustLuvBoxers Rescue so that ALL Boxers in the PNW could have a safe place to stay while awaiting a forever family. That vision has been the driving force behind everything we do, from forming the rescue network to leasing property for the future Rescue Center & Senior Sanctuary. In order to maximize the effectiveness of the foster network, we knew that the organization needed a permanent “home” and future intake facility. In 2022, we moved our headquarters from Lake Stevens to the new property in Stanwood. The farm sits on 5 acres, and we have converted the house into office space.

We've been leasing the property but due to changing circumstances Buying the farm was a leap of faith, but we felt that it was necessary to enable the organization to grow and fulfill its mission. We have begun the process of upgrading the existing barn and fencing but there is so much left to do. If you have not yet seen the new farm, please do consider a visit. It has become a central hub of volunteer and staff activity, and you never know what animals you may meet there on any given day. If you are able to contribute any amount to help us continue to maximize the possibilities for helping more and more animals at the farm, we’d really appreciate it. Thank you!
