Michael and Stephanie have 14 years of experience with boxers and just love the breed. When they saw Cassius, they knew right away he was the next boxer for them! Cassius is settling in nicely now and loving his new family. He will get to enjoy play time in the yard and several walks in the neighborhood every day. Stephanie is a homemaker, so Cassius is going to be her daily companion. Lucky for both of them!

Stephanie and Michael, MustLuvBoxers Rescue is thrilled that you adopted Cassius as your fourth boxer. We just know Cassius will give you a lot of unconditional love, as you will to him. Please keep us updated on all the fun adventures the three of you have together.

Kim and Douglas love boxers and have had four boxers over the past 23 years and knew they wanted to bring another one into the family. They met and fell in love with senior-girl Olivia, who now goes by the name Edna Jane.

Edna Jane gets to enjoy two homes, one in Portland, Oregon and one in Hailey, Idaho, where Kim and Douglas live six months of the year. In addition to some traveling between the two homes, Edna Jane is going to be an active member of the family, enjoying some hiking, long walks, and in the winter, she’ll accompany her new forever family on snow shoeing expeditions.

Douglas and Kim, MustLuvBoxers Rescue is thrilled that Edna Jane is your 5th boxer, and a rescued one! We can’t wait to hear about the fun adventures we know Edna Jane is going to have with you.

Margaret (now Penny)

Elissa and Robert have a 2½-year-old boxer named Ollie. Over the past several months, they both volunteered their time to help socialize the M*A*S*H puppies and provided other needed assistance to their foster mom. During this time, they fell in love with the one female from the litter, Margaret. Ollie also loved to be with her and have playtime with her. It seemed that the natural thing to do was to bring this sweet puppy permanently into their family. Now called Penny, she’s loving her new forever home and family.

Penny will soon be in training classes with Stephanie, who was her foster mom, which means she will get to learn how to be the best boxer she can possibly be! We’re sure Ollie is teaching her some great boxer traits too! Besides having a fur-brother, Penny has a tiny human in her life too by way of Elissa and Robert’s grandson. Sounds like Penny is living the perfect boxer-life.

Elissa, Robert, and most importantly, Ollie, MustLuvBoxers Rescue is so appreciative of the time you spent helping out with Tori and the M*A*S*H puppies. We are so happy you have opened your hearts and home to Penny and look forward to getting updates on the fun adventures you all have together.

Hans, Kaley, and their young daughter, Matilda, are no strangers to boxers and MLBR, as they rescued their current boxer, Jasmine, from us in 2022. They also have a young Chihuahua named Ziggy. What better time to bring another boxer into the family than now, and this time a puppy! From the M*A*S*H litter, they selected Klinger. This handsome little guy now goes by the name Otto.

Otto is happily getting used to his new humans and two canine siblings. In addition to the dogs, he’s learning to love his new kittie siblings, Bread and Marshmallow Angel. Otto has joined quite the pack of furry friends! When he’s not having fun inside the home, Otto is going to enjoy taking regular family walks, occasional hikes, and trips to the beach. We’d say this boy has scored big time!

Otto, MustLuvBoxers Rescue is thrilled that you found your furever family with Hans, Kaley, and Matilda. We look forward to getting updates on all the fun we know you’ll have with your new fur siblings in the coming years.

Radar (now Ludo)

Adopted:

Courtney and Kirk have really wanted a dog as a family member for years and so have their 2 young kids, Madeline and Archer. They finally have the home and the yard – almost 5 acres – suitable to bringing a dog into the family. They wanted a puppy, so the kids and the puppy can grow up together, and they fell in love with Radar, one of the M*A*S*H puppies. After some thought and discussion, they changed his name to Ludo – the sweet and friendly smush-faced monster in the 80’s movie Labyrinth. We think this sounds perfect for a boxer!

Ludo is so great and is starting to show the traits they love about the boxer breed – sweet, fun, lovable, intelligent, and with the incessant need to be around people. With Courtney’s work from home schedule and Kirk’s shift rotation schedule, not to mention after the kids get home from school, there will be a lot of boxer-human interaction and play time! Ludo hit the jackpot with an active family who love to go hiking, camping, and snuggling during movie nights.

Kirk, Courtney, Madeline, and Archer, MustLuvBoxers Rescue is so happy that you were finally able to welcome a furry-family member into your hearts and home. Please keep us updated on the fun adventures we know Ludo will have with all of you, especially the kids!
