Boxer Adoption Stories 2022
New Beginnings for Boxers at MustLuvBoxers Rescue
Money (now Bruno)
Boxers have been part of Cindy and Cliff’s life for many years. Their most recent boxer, Oreo, was rescued in 2018 and passed away not long ago. They needed a boxer back in their lives and wanted to rescue again. Enter Money! He is perfect for their family and is now called Bruno.
Bruno is loving his new family, which also includes Cindy and Cliff’s daughter, Cierra. Extra bonus for Bruno…his new dad is retired and home all the time! Bruno will get to go on daily walks and even trips to the beach. Where the family goes, so goes Bruno!
Bruno, you scored big-time with your new family! Cliff, Cindy, and Cierra, MustLuvBoxers Rescue is thrilled you found Bruno and brought him into your family. Please keep us updated on the adventures you all take with Bruno; especially his first trip to the beach.
Morgan (now Morgan Ollerus)
Elizabeth and Tommy are not new to rescuing boxers as it became a passion of Elizabeth’s when she was in her early 20’s, rescuing several, the most recent is Bowen, adopted in 2017. Earlier this year Bowen’s partner Parker passed away at the ripe old age of 12; and now Bo needs a new partner. Enter young Morgan! Morgan has been given a more official name, compliments of Tommy, and is now Morgan Ollerus or Morgan Ollie for short. His middle name is that of a Norse god.
Morgan and Bowen are enjoying getting to know each other and both are displaying all those great boxer traits: snuggly, smart, goofy, and a little stubborn. Morgan is going to have a blast with his new family going hiking, checking out doggie daycare, taking visits to work and the beach, and will even go on yearly cross-country trips!
Tommy, Elizabeth, and especially Bowen, MustLuvBoxers Rescue is thrilled you found your new family member in Morgan Ollerus. Morgan is lucky to have found you 3 and we know he’s in a great family. We can’t wait to get pictures and updates of the fun you all have together in the coming years.
Wendy and Rick rescued their last two boxers, with their most recent one passing 2 years ago. After enough time went by to heal from their loss, they knew that now was the right time to welcome another goofy wiggle-butt into their life. That’s when they found Nala!
Nala is going to have a great life with her new family, and she loves the fact that Rick is retired and home most of the time. We just bet the two will become close companions in no time at all. Nala will get to enjoy a lot of fun activities with her new people, like camping, visits to their friend’s mini farm, road trips, and in the winter, lots of playtime in the snow!
Wendy and Rick, MustLuvBoxers Rescue is thrilled that after 2 years you’ve found your new family member in Nala. We know the 3 of you will have a great future and we can’t wait to hear about all the adventures you have together.
Brandy, Justin, and their teenage daughter, Teagan, had a boxer/coonhound mix for 8 years and after his passing they knew there would be a future boxer in their family again. They love that boxers are smart, funny, active, playful, loyal, and great with kids. After some searching, they found Daisy on our Petfinder page, then came a meet up, and she quickly became part of the family!
Daisy is enjoying her new family and getting used to her new neighborhood by taking daily walks. We are betting that Daisy is showing off her goofy lovable boxer personality to all she meets along the way. She’ll also be having fun with backyard playtime, other outdoor activities, and as the weather gets nicer, Daisy will be introduced to camping!
Brandy, Justin, and Teagan, MustLuvBoxers Rescue is thrilled you found your new family member in Daisy. Please keep us updated on the fun and adventures you all have with Daisy.
Brody (now Brodie)
Katie and Russell, and their teenage daughter, Orion, have a 4-year-old rescued female boxer, Poopie, who came from a puppy mill. They recently lost their senior Boxer, Cash, and Poopie was quite depressed without her fur-sibling, so they knew it was time to rescue another pup in need. Katie heard about MLBR through one of our volunteers and soon saw Brody listed and felt he would fit into the family very nicely. They made one little change to his name, and he is now known as Brodie!
Since Poopie is very much a couch-potato and homebody, Brodie is going to learn to live the life of a king. And we’re betting he’ll be very good at that! Brodie is loving that Russell works from home, so this lucky boy will rarely find himself without his new humans around; not to mention, the added bonus of having a fur-sister to hang out with.
Russell, Katie, Orion, and especially Poopie, MustLuvBoxers Rescue is thrilled you rescued another Boxer in need of a furever home. We know that Brodie is thrilled as well. We look forward to getting updates about the fun times we know you all will have with your new addition.
